Since our last update, the Iota Pi chapter has been busy building an incredible story!
This past semester we initiated seven new brothers, and we’re growing Sigma Chi’s standing at Marquette. Our community service efforts are making a real difference on and off campus, with our continued support for The Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Marquette’s own Make A Difference Day, and Huntsman Cancer Foundation; our Derby Days goal this year is $10,000!
We’re proudly growing, and giving back. Now, we need help — for our chapter house.
Over the years, needed repairs and improvements grew beyond the scope of what we could manage alone. Fortunately, with support from Sigma Chi, the Constantine Housing Initiative (CHI) added the Iota Pi house to add to its portfolio, and renovations are taking place that will, once again, establish Sigma Chi as a leader on campus! The Make Your Marque Campaign is already working hard to fund this nearly $1.2 million renovation. Our immediate goal is to raise $350,000, and we need ALL our brothers’ help to reach it!
Several key safety upgrades, and some incredible renovations, are already complete; now we have more room for social functions and chapter meetings… things we couldn’t do with the old space. And the new living spaces are big improvements for brothers living in the house!
